FOOD PROGRAMS FOR CHILD CARE FACILITIES

The Child and Adult Care Food Program provides money to help licensed family child care providers provide nutritious meals and snacks for young children. This program is administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The goals of the Child and Adult Care Food Program are to teach good eating habits and assure that well-balanced, nourishing meals are served to children in care.

If you have additional questions about the Child and Adult Care Food Program, you should contact the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment at (303) 692-2330.
